Beverly A. (Sones) Eberlin

Beverly A. Eberlin, 85, of Muncy Valley, peacefully passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024 with family by her side.

Born May 21, 1939 in Sonestown, she was a daughter of the late George and Viola (Phillips) Sones. In 1963 she married Charles D. Eberlin, and together they celebrated 47 years until his passing in 2000.

Beverly was a 1957 graduate of Sullivan County High School.

She was a member of Valley United Methodist Church, Muncy Valley, and Nelson Armes Post#601 Auxiliary, American Legion, Sonestown.

Beverly enjoyed sitting on her porch and spending time with family.

She is survived by a son, Charles Eberlin and his wife, Penny, Sonestown; a daughter, Janice Smith and her husband Daniel, Overton; four grandchildren, Kyle Eberlin, Danielle, Bridgit, and Dylan Smith; 2 great-grandsons, Kolton and Aiden Eberlin; and two sisters, Dorothy Galusha, Elizabethville, and Mary Saul and her husband Bob, Avis.

In addition to her husband, Charles, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Eberlin; and two brothers, Richard “Dick” and Roger Sones.

A celebration of her life will be held 2-4PM on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Hughesville Funeral Home, 5069 Route 220 Highway, Hughesville.
