Edwin E. Leibensperger

Edwin E. Leibensperger, 50 of Millville and formerly of Allentown, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born May 2, 1974 in Allentown, he was a son of John Alvardo, of Allenwood, and the late Charmaine Leibensperger.  On August 14, 2022 he married the former Olivia A. Peterman and together celebrated 2 years of marriage.

Edwin loved his grandchildren and enjoyed watching football and baseball.  Most of all, he cherished all the time he could spend with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Olivia, and father he is survived by four daughters:  Gaberial Schmidt, of Allentown, Emily Blackman, of Millville, Katelyn (Dalton) Hosler, of Berwick, and Tyniasha (Branden) Hodle, of Millville; six grandchildren; and one brother: John (Christine) Alvardo, of Allentown.

Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Carla Leibensperger.

There will be a visitation held from 5 to 6 PM on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Hughesville Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 5069 Route 220 Hwy, where a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:00 PM.
