Glenn C. “Butch” Keiser, Jr., 77, of Hughesville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at his home.

Born October 24, 1946 in Muncy, he was the son of the late Glenn C., Sr. and Lillian Mae (Biggar) Keiser.  On November 23, 1983 he married the former Debbie I. Haynes and together they celebrated 40 years of marriage.

Butch was a 1964 graduate of Hughesville High School.  He worked for Step Unit of Lycoming County as a HVAC Tech, was self-employed owning/operating Keiser AC & Refrigeration, and for Kepner Farm Supply as a mechanic and truck driver.  Butch was a member of Hughesville American Legion Post #35, the Legion Riders, and Beacon United Methodist Church, Hughesville.

He was a ham radio buff and enjoyed operating and working on them.  Also, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and playing paintball on his own field.  Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Debbie, he is survived by his two sons:  Anthony W. (Linda) Keiser, of Muncy and Kyle W. Keiser, of Hughesville; four daughters:  Lori A. (Brad) Harvey, of Benton, Char M. (Alan) Colley, of Hughesville, Cori R. (Brian) Young, of Muncy, and Ashley M. (Cheyenne) Wade, of Shunk; nine grandchildren:  Dalton Young, Austin Young, Ethan Harvey, Owen Ewing, Colton Wade, Brielle Wade, Bradley Colley, Kierra and Khloe Keiser; and two sisters:  Barb Miller, of Watsontown, and Shelby (Rick) Bachman, of Hughesville.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Richard Miller.

Services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions in his memory be made to the American Cancer Society.
