Guy L. Harriman

Guy L. Harriman, 92, of Unityville, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born August 19, 1933 in Jordan Twp., Lycoming Co, he was a son of the late Clayton and Clara C. (Stackhouse) Harriman.  On December 14, 1952 he married the former Nancy L. Allen, and together they celebrated 72 years of marriage.

Guy was a self-employed logger for most of his life.  He was a former member of the Sonestown American Legion Post 601 and of Highland 40&8.

He enjoyed hunting, salmon fishing in NY, and gardening.  Also, he enjoyed woodworking in his shop and mowing his lawn.

In addition to his wife, Nancy, Guy is survived by two sons: Randy M. Harriman, of Unityville, and Gary R. Harriman, of Millville; two daughters: Linda L. Russel, of Missouri, and Joyce M. Wilson and her husband Wayne, of Unityville; three grandchildren: Terence Harriman, Jarek Harriman, and Tori Russell; six great-grandchildren: Shawn, Shane, Jax Harriman, Kassidy, Jenson, and Neveah; and one brother: Sylvan Harriman, of Sonestown.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Guy Harriman Jr.; daughter: Darla Harriman; two brothers: Dwayne Robert Wallis, and Doyle Wallis; and one sister: Mabel Swales.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
