Obituary
James G. Mendler, 62, of Hughesville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Williamsport Rehab and Nursing Home.
Born July 19, 1960 in Williamsport, he was the son of the late Paul and Beatrice (Kahler) Mendler. He was married to the former Velvet E. Bartlow for 42 years until her death December 1, 2021.
He was a graduate of Hughesville High School and had been employed at Andritz, Muncy.
Surviving is a son, James A. Mendler and his wife Kelly of Hughesville; five grandchildren: Dylan Hill, Mason, Jackson, and Brandon Confer, and Tierra Lyons; and a sister, Beth Amos and her husband Thomas of Williamsport.
Preceding him in death besides his parents and wife was a daughter, Michelle Mendler; two brothers: Gary and Robert Mendler; and a sister, Sherry Sanbora.
Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hughesville Funeral Home and Cremation Svcs, Inc., 5069 Route 220 Highway, Hughesville.
