Jeanette "Jenni" Snyder 74, of Lewisburg PA passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with Colon Cancer.
Jenni was born on July 14, 1951 in Williamsport, PA to Dean Ellis Snyder Sr. and Marjorie Viola Snyder (nee Mumma).
She was a graduate of Williamsport Area High School in 1975 and earned her Laboratory Aide/ Assistant Certification at The Williamsport Hospital in 1976.
Jenni gave birth to her beloved son, William Dean Snyder, on March 10, 1971 and he has been her baby boy ever since! Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Jenni was lucky to have witnessed her light. Once you met her you immediately became loved, cared for, and fully embraced. She was generous to a fault even if she went without.
She was the hardest working and most dedicated woman you’ve probably ever met. Who truly loved working. She has quite a list of former workplaces but the three that quickly came to mind that meant the world to her was Denny’s, the Holy Family Convent, and Target. It was there where she formed many life-long bonds, that she cherished with coworkers, bosses, and her beloved nuns.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her love and life partner, Henry Strothers.
In addition to her son, William Dean Snyder, and his wife Rachel, of Lewisburg, she is survived by a sister: Diane McCue and her husband Tom, of Carlisle; brother: Dean Ellis Snyder Jr. and his wife Julie, of Muncy; sister-in-law: Deb Worden; nieces: Kimberly and her husband Kenneth, Dawn Snyder, Mandy Foster and her husband Joe, and Jessica Mini and her husband Sal; nephews: Pat McCue and his wife Aimee, Jason Ward and his wife, Heather, Dean Ellis Snyder III and his wife, Jenn, and Zach Snyder and his wife Jennifer; grandchildren: Sasha McKraken, Mal Wienecke, Gage Piel, and Dallas Piel; her granddogs: Molly and Sephie; and grand and great-grand nieces and nephews Orion and his wife Emily, Jon, CJ, Christy, Eileen, Gwynth, Faith, Jaeden, Bryson, Chase, Maeve, and Jaxson.
A celebration of Jenni's life will be announced by the family at a later date, sometime near her birthday in July ,which would have been her 75th birthday.
