John G. Oberdorf, Jr.

John G. Oberdorf, 76, of Muncy, PA passed peacefully on March 28, 2022, with his wife and 10 children by his side.  John was born to the late John (Jack) and Eleanor Oberdorf of Muncy. He was the husband of Tina (Deppen) Oberdorf for over 40 years.

John has a true passion for music, most days you could hear him singing for hours. He loved spending time with family and friends, and you could always find him at the river fishing, camping, and enjoying bonfires. In winter her was happy making his famous monkey bread and playing dominos.

John is survived by one sister, Lorraine M. and Terry Lynn of Muncy, Twin brothers Jeffery L. and wife Tracey Oberdorf of York and Jerry L. and wife Wendy Oberdorf of Marysville. He was proceeded in death by two sisters, Joyce Farley and Carol Knight. He was a graduate of Muncy High School and was in the insurance business for 37 years. 

John is survived by 10 children. Tina Oberdorf and Trudy Oberdorf of Snowflake, Arizona, Melissa Cole of Witch Wells, Arizona, Laurie Whitmoyer of Muncy, Lisa M. and husband Steve Vandine of Muncy, Timothy Whitmoyer of Elimsport, Melissa Whitmoyer and Butch Blair of Watsontown, Nicholas and wife Aleseaia Deppen of Picture Rocks, Stewart and wife Tiffany Wilson of Williamsport, and Corey and wife Morgan of Muncy. He is also survived by 27 grand children and 10 great grandchildren.

Private service will be held at the convenience of family.
