Judy E. (Heiser) Walker

Judy E. Walker, 76, of Williamsport, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Leighton Place, Williamsport.

Born November 3, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Frances Heiser. On June 30, 1979 she married Douglas N. “Doug” Walker, and together they celebrated 43 years of marriage until his passing in 2022.

Judy was a graduate of Warrior Run High School and took classes at the former Williamsport Area Community College. She worked in various secretarial jobs in the area and later retired from the health department at Lycoming College.

She enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach where she loved taking long walks and collecting seashells. Judy cherished her animals.

Judy is survived by a son, Erin (Theresa) Walker; a step-daughter, Louise (Randy) Snyder and family; and two cousins, Nanci Catlin, and Ruth Bunting. 

In addition to her parents and husband, Judy was preceded in death by a brother, Barry Heiser. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at the Genetti Hotel in the Garden Room, 22 W 4th Street, Williamsport.
