June Sayre Obituary
June M. Sayre, 92, of Hughesville, passed away Monday, February 23, 2026 at UPMC Muncy Place.
Born March 29, 1933 in Franklin Township, Lycoming County, she was a daughter of the late Wilbur C. and Edna M. (Farnsworth) Rogers. On May 1, 1965 she married Lawrence W. Sayre and together they have celebrated 60 years of marriage.
June enjoyed camping and spending time with family.
In addition to her husband, Lawrence, she is survived by a son, Alan T. Sayre, of Hughesville; and a grandson, Tyler A. Sayre.
Besides her parents, June was preceded in death by two sons, Gregory D. Sayre, and Daniel L. Sayre, in infancy; a brother, Mike Rogers; and three sisters, Dorothy Warburton, Jean Heincelman, and Effie Budman.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM on Monday, March 2, 2026 at Muncy Cemetery.
