Michelle F. (Peterman) Whipple

Michelle F. Whipple, 43, of Muncy Valley, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Geisinger Medical Center where she was a medical patient.

Born December 6, 1978 in Muncy, she was the daughter of the late Ronnie and Patricia (Eberlin) Peterman.  On December 24, 2002 she married Nathan Whipple and they have celebrated 19 years of marriage.

She was employed as a clerk at the District Magistrate's office of Sullivan County, and the Sonestown Country Inn and Sonestown Americal Legion.  She has also worked at the Highlands in Laporte.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Sonestown and enjoyed cooking, reading, and crafts.

Surviving besides her husband are four daughters:  Cortney J. McCarty and her husband Hunter; Kailey E. Rupert, Cloey L. Whipple and Kamdyn R. Whipple, all of Muncy Valley; three brothers: James Eberlin of Hughesville, Peanut Chilson in Florida, and John Chilson of Laporte; and a sister, Sandra Stoner of Muncy Valley. 

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
