Patricia M. (Maust) Wagner

Patricia Maust Wagner, 72, a resident of Muncy, passed away on July 13th, at home surrounded by family. She was born in Muncy on November 13th, 1952, to the late Maynard Maust and Virginia (Wells) Maust of Muncy.

In her youth, Pat enjoyed hiking and sports, especially basketball and tennis. She graduated from Lock Haven University’s Social Work program and was a caseworker at the Office of Aging in Williamsport for many years. She took time off to raise and homeschool her two children, who carried her love of learning into their jobs in higher education. Her hobbies included reading and watching the birds at her birdfeeder.

In March of 1991, Pat married Frederick Lee Wagner, and they celebrated 33 years together before he passed in April of 2024. Pat is carried in the memories of her daughter Phoebe Debrah Wagner and son-in-law Andrew Hurvey Dincher (Williamsport), her son Samuel Maust Wagner (Williamsport), and her lifelong best friend, Debra Lin Nuss (Muncy). She was preceded in death by her brother James L. “Jim” Maust (Muncy) and is survived by her sister, Linda (Maust) Hilner (Loganville, Georgia).

The family will have a private celebration of life.
