Sarah "Sally" E. (Biggs) Orr

Sarah E. "Sally" Orr, 79, of Muncy, passed away Friday, January 24, 2025 at The Gatehouse at UPMC Williamsport. 

Born April 16, 1945 in Greene, New York, she was a daughter of the late Lee G. and Dorothy M. (Gates) Biggs. On June 30, 1961 she married Neal L. Orr and together they have celebrated 63 years of marriage.

Sally was the owner of Dipper Dan in the former Lycoming Mall.  Also she worked on the Tipstaff for the former Lycoming County Judge Richard Gray, and volunteered at the Muncy Valley Hospital.   She enjoyed gardening and especially loved taking cruises to Australia, New Zealand and the Caribbean.

In addition to her husband, Neal, she is survived by her two sons: Duane A. Orr, and Timothy J. Orr and his wife Melinda; four grandchildren:  Van Orr and his wife Jessica, Angela Ganther and her husband Kevin, Alexis Orr, and Austin Orr and his wife Sarah; and five great-grandchildren: Evan, Dean, Jonathan, and Caleb Orr, and Stella Ganther.

A celebration of Sally's life will be held at a later date.
